A Money Making Tip
Filed under Finances, Money Saving TipsFeb 27I know I have focused a lot on money saving tips, but there are really two ways to have more money- spend less or make more. Lets look at an easy way to make some extra money.
Most people are unaware of their hidden talents and skills. Most of us just take them for granted. For me, math was always just easy. I didn’t realize I was better at it than most kids in my classes. How could that help me? I can be a math tutor, because I am able to understand things about math others might not.
What is your talent? Are you a great blogger? Can you make creative crafts? Can your organize a house full of clutter? Then people are looking for your help! You just have to know how to tell them you’re around.
Use a site like Craig’s List to make yourself known. If you can sew, then advertise yourself as a professional that will put anything together. Leave your phone number and email address. Someone will give you a call, they usually do.
If you can tutor on a variety of subjects, then tell teachers at local schools, go door to door in your neighborhood, post ads online, put up posters, hand out fliers, etc. There’s plenty fo ways to let people discover you and what you can do.
How valuable can it be? Think on this- most small business owners started their business as a freelance gig on the side. But they became so successful at it, they quit their day job and devoted their time to what they loved doing full time.
Imagine, people paying you to do what you love and are good at. It can happen, and more than that, it does happen, and is going to keep on happening as long as people try. How would you like to be the only known guitar teacher in the neighborhood? Wouldn’t it be nice to teach lessons for a living and work at your own time and doing what you love and are good at?
So there’s your money making tip- use your talents to be productive and make some money doing side jobs. And who knows, it could even turn into a full time job and your own business!
